  1. It's certainly getting to the age where you will see a decline in numbers with owners scrapping or breaking the car. As it's neither too new or too old, it is in a limbo stage to become a classic, as yet....however, if you've had the foresight to acquire one then it's worth hanging onto and keeping in tip-top condition to further increase its value as it becomes even rarer over time Feel free to post up some pics of it if you would like to?
  2. Hi Neil....welcome to the Club As long as its Jaguar related you're welcome to post in the forums 🙂 Used to be the in-thing to strap a Jaguar IRS to the back end of custom cars back in the 70's and 80's very versatile and easy to fit as in a subframe and could huge amounts of power through the axle
  3. Hi Dave....welcome to the Club Good to hear you're enjoying the Jaguar experience and long may it continue

      Hi Earle

You may want to post this in the XF section as not many members will be able to view this request

Worth contacting Moss, David Manners and other Jaguar specialists or find a rebuilder such as ATP and others who can recon the unit

      Cheers,   Trevor

  5. HI Stephen....welcome to the Club I would start by connecting a battery conditioner (not just a charger but a smart conditioner which will restore the battery) or alternatively just replace the battery. Check and inflate the tyre pressures and also check the tyre condition for perishing and cracks. Check (and replace if necessary) the engine oil and other fluid levels Turn the engine over but do not necessarily start it immediately, e.g. if diesel then turn it over before the glow plugs kick in so that the engine is turning freely for a while to get the oil pressure up. If petrol engine, then disconnect the ignition coil electrical connections or fuel injector connectors. Ensure the brakes are not seized on and if so then gradually driving backwards and forwards until they release may work. Good luck and let us know how you get on with it all
  6. Jaguar Owners Club have a stand at this year's Simply Jaguar event at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Hampshire on Sunday 23rd June 2024 Tickets are available online here: https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/events/simply-jaguar/ Please note, we do ask clubs to arrive by 10.30am and if members have not arrived by then club spaces will be allocated to general participant parking. Please ask your members to purchase their tickets in advance as this will speed up arrival on the day. Tickets are per person, so please ensure that all persons arriving are covered by a ticket. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ CLUB STAND ATTENDEE LIST - GET YOUR NAME ADDED TO THE LIST BELOW! We do ask for a final update on numbers 2 weeks prior to the event following which we will send out club labels to you via email for you to then distribute out to club members. 10. Jaguar is commemorating the end of its internal combustion sports car lineage in 2024 with an exclusive limited-edition F-TYPE inspired by two iconic 1960s racing E-types Just 150 examples of the F-TYPE ZP Edition will be the last internal combustion-engined sports cars designed by Jaguar. These 575PS supercharged petrol V8 F-TYPEs feature specially curated interior and exterior details by the personalisation experts at SV Bespoke. "As Jaguar embarks on the boldest transformation in its history, to become a modern luxury all-electric brand from 2025, this is an unrepeatable celebration of Jaguar’s internal combustion sports car provenance. F-TYPE has captivated sports car drivers for more than a decade, just as the E-type did five decades before it. The ZP Edition is the ultimate celebration of that lineage, joining an illustrious roster of heritage-inspired collector’s editions including the 2015 Project 7 and 2020 Heritage 60 Edition." RAWDON GLOVER - MANAGING DIRECTOR, JAGUAR Two F-TYPE ZP Edition colourways are available, recalling the first race-winning ‘Project ZP’ E-types campaigned shortly after the model’s launch in 1961: Oulton Blue Gloss paint with Mars Red and Ebony duotone leather interior, or Crystal Grey Gloss paint with Navy Blue and Ebony duotone leather interior. Both feature Porcelain White Gloss hand-painted racing-style roundels on the doors and Porcelain White Gloss grille surrounds. Neither exterior paint colour has been offered on F-TYPE before. These colours match the two specially formulated paints created for seven pairs of E-type Project ZP Collection cars announced by Jaguar Classic earlier this year: https://media.jaguar.com/news/2023/06/jaguar-classic-unveils-tribute-first-e-type-race-wins-e-type-zp-collection. Unique interiors with horizontal seat fluting, plus Gloss Black exterior accents and Gloss Black brake calipers, complement exclusive F-TYPE ZP Edition branding details on the fenders, Gloss Black Diamond Turned 20-inch forged alloy wheels, tread plates and dashboard. Each car features a ‘One of 150’ SV Bespoke commissioning plaque. Ever since earning accolades including 2013 World Car Design of the Year, F-TYPE has continued to set the benchmark for truly involving, engaging, driver-focused sports cars, with a distinctive V8 soundtrack. The exhaust note is so iconic it is archived in institutions including the British Library. The F-TYPE ZP Edition is available in both Coupé and Convertible body styles. With 575PS, 700Nm of torque and an all-wheel drive system with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) technology, performance is exceptional on all surfaces and in all weathers: 0-60mph takes as little as 3.5 seconds, while top speed is an electronically-limited 186mph.
