Thanks for the info as the window does have an annoying knock so will look at the cables as for the passenger he can keep me company on my long journeys haha👍

My drivers window when putting it back up goes halfway then shoots back down, it does this about two to three times then goes up on fourth attempt but it doesn't have this issue all the time. I thought about disconnecting the battery to give electronics a reboot but i don't have a code for the radio if one is required so i'm put off doing this just in case. I have done the resetting method of putting window fully down then up holding the switch longer but still having the same problem. The car has a few gremlins it appears as the interior light sometimes comes on by it's self also, any help or advice would be gratefully received Jaguar XF 08 plate Gary
