  1. Try giving it a charge "In Situ" for an hour just an idea no firm evidence It might be the immobiliser but don`t know how you fix that Good Luck Alastair
  2. I found Warrenty Direct to be good and cheap :)
  3. I think you will find an advert as well on the website, I paid £35 from mine from my XJ 6 instead of £250 to Jaguar which to me is a considerable saving and it works just as well, I was out in the Jag today and it worked good as gold best, Alastair :)
  4. Look ad the advert on the posting bottom :D
  5. I`m not 100% but think it was from here and bought the breathable one at £115 http://www.carcovershop.co.uk/carsearch-detail.asp?model=XJ6 (ALL) I did keep the catalogue but its vanished now. Its a good cover abd has done well by my car just looked and its size E in its own carrier and everything for the XJ6 Sovereign Best Alastair :)
  6. Try some oil on the wing mirror, I had this when the battery was low also, and try reprogramming the radio and bluetooth I hope you got the 260+ page manual that goes with the car :) Best Alastair :)

  8. Could it possibly be that your car batteriy is low from time to time if you are not out in it daily?
  9. Thanks Guys
  10. Age is no barrier to Jaguar drivers. I just thought I'd post this folks, my wife aged 76 took my Jaguar out for a spin today, the day after our golden wedding anniversary, no problems at all. All the controls are very similar to her little Skoda Fabia and she sailed along with the best of them. I just thought I'd post this as an encouragement to the older potential Jaguar owner Best, Alastair :-)
  11. Did you check the fuse with a meter to ensure it was OK?
  12. Hi Robinp, please keep an eye on your new tyres and DO tell us if this has fixed the problem Best Alastair
  13. This is the most peculiar, have you consulted a Jaguar dealer about this?
  14. I had tyre troubles to begin with, and my advice is if you're going to replace tyres which have worn with no good reason, then replace them with something like Pirelli or Michelin's.
