  1. Hello Peter. Thank you for your reply. The battery was not fully charged when it was tried, and a booster was used to get it powered up. It seems like everything else works, [if only looking like low powered] as the wipers work slower than they should. I have had it taken to a local garage which is a large one, not a one man operation, to see what they make of it. Il post again when I get some response [other than scratching their heads] from them.   2. Hi people. My 2008 XF 2.7 had the battery removed for a couple of months. Now that it's been put back on, it's behaving really strangely. The key works, the vents open and gear selector etc comes up, the engine turns over, but will not fire. Im guessing that somehow, the electrics, ECU has lost its memory and so the engine is imobilised. Can anyone confirm this, and maybe suggest what I should do. Many thanks. Allen
