  1. Hi all it's been a long time been not to good with service related injuries.but after a trip out my car was murdered by a d..khead decided he wanted to pull across two lanes of traffic straight infront of me.so to cut the story down my x type now resides in a scrap yard in Rotherham.i did buy a load of parts ready to go on in the next few days so I have for sale for a fair bid 2 front calipers plus pads 2 rear disc plus pads.6 ngk spark plugs.10 litres of good quality engine oil plus filter.a pair of nice blue fog lamp bulbs.so if it's any use drop me a message it's all for a 2002 x type 2.1.its no good for my other car.cheers Paul

  2. Hi they,Ive used oil additives for a year or so now without any issues,i did not have any problems but my engine has done 126k now, i have always done oil and filter changes every 5k,my oil was always nice and clean, but when very hot on idle my oil light flickered a few times so i went for the normal filter/oil change,my garage suggested using an additive as everything checked out ok,doing town driving, stop start just ran the engine a bit hotter,so i tried it, the oil light has not flickered at all since,i do a lot of long motorway driving down to Penzance/Plymouth from Burton on trent, the engine feels smooth, but now i also have the cold start protection,i will continue to use it i just can not remember the make they used, from my point of view £25 well spent,
