c1799 hall effect failure... The dash displays Parkbrake fault and i can get it off by disconnecting battery but comes back, everything has been checked and all working but can't get fault off display ?

Is there a way of deleting codes for good ?

Sorry haven't logged on in a while, got heater matrix changed and all good, the eml was a lambada sensor which was changed. All good. now just as my 30 days guarante runs out I get a park brake fault, but everything works as it should ? Just a pain driving with the amber light on and message in dash

Thanks Old Peter, James must be busy as i found his website and used the contact form there and i also rang him and left message as only got answer machine. Nothing back. took car back to where i bought it from as only had it a month and with heater not working correctly and now engine management light on thought it best i don't mess and let them sort it out. Thanks for your help tho. Steve

Jumped in car as i finished work for the day and on start up the engine management light stayed on, Car drove perfect all way home, stopped let the car cool down and went out to start again, Light stays on ??? Don't have a code reader so any advice please anyone ?

Hi all, Name is Steve and I've recently moved back to owning a Jaguar, Previously owned a Xtype 2.0 diesel then moved on to a Porsche Boxster then a BMW 320D Sport but missed the Jag ride so bought a 54 Plate 3.0 V6 Jag and loving it. little problem with heater inside ( not getting warm ) but pleased with car so far.

Hi Guys, new to forum and looking for advice. Car, 54Plate XJ 3.0 V6 SE. Problem, the cabin heater does not heat up as it should, if giving the car some pedal the passenger side will get warm but drivers side nothing when normal driving nothing either side. I flushed out matrix and back flushed it and topped up coolant. Took it for a run and still the same. I have to go somewhere in a cpl of days and worried, my daily drive isn't more than around 30miles but I'm going on a 500 mile round trip and all though car runs at normal temp from temp gauge I'm worried with cabin heater not working and no air in system will it affect the engine ? When time permits i will get to bottom of cabin heater unless someone knows why this happens ? Advice greatly appreciated
