  1. Hi Dave, I've had to give in and de-mist the screen myself, such a hardship haha. It's a shame climate control doesn't take into account the outside air temp, tho it does turn on the screen de-icers in the morning so shouldn't complain. Thanks Matt
  2. Hi ladies and gents, I've got a couple of quick questions I hope someone can help me with. Firstly, is there anyway to have my windscreen de-mist on in climate control auto mode or will I just have to select it and manage the temp of the cabin myself (or use the front screen heater). Secondly, due to work commitments I can spend anything upto 6 months outside of the UK, has anyone got experience with a good quality, fitted, preferably alarmed, car cover?. Thanks in advance, Matt.
  3. Hello Peter. Thank you for the warm welcome. This morning as the XF pulsed its heartbeat, steering wheel came down to meet me, both screens de-iced themselves and i sat on my heated seat before gliding to work, the Alfa was very far from my mind. It truly is a privilege to drive a marque i have admired for many years, the Alfa will always hold a special part in my heart but the jaguar is a little stunner. Regards Matt.
  4. Good evening ladies and gents, Today i left my much loved and well traveled Alfa Romeo 147 collezione on a forecort and drove away in my first Jaguar, a 2011 2.2d 190ps premium luxury XF. I thought it would only be polite to introduce myself to this forum as i, as you can imagine, used the Alfaowners club on a regular basis!. I can honestly say i will miss my alfa having owned it from new, traveled Europe many times and put 125k miles on the clock however, what a car the XF is. i hope to be a regular user of this forum and am looking forward to many happy miles and memories in my new(ish) Jaguar. Regards, Matt.
