Hi Tim

My wheels are 18" BBS split rims (Indianapolis) I do like them, just need a bit of TLC in certain places, overall not to bad though

Some jobs on the list

I need to change the CD player (not working) i think i have mentioned before, for some reason, the idea of ripping out the console etc i find quite scary, so will wait until i have plucked up the courage or just give in and take her to Halfords!

I have just bought these, sports boxes, hopefully will arrive in the next few days, this will be a job to be done in the next few months when weather improves. i'm going to try and photo / video the before, during and after work, sound would be nice, i cant wait to hear them (hopefully wont be dissapointed!) only problem is my Missus, doesnt know yet ;)

I have started this under the Bonnett, but had to stop, my hands are just to shaky (what you see is just a primer coat, they will eventually be Ferrari red) so i have asked my son in law if would he finish for me.

i was considering doing something slightly different to my chrome trim on the boot just above the reg plate, I am toying with the idea of painting the actual lettering, for me the letters are lost! and dont stand out enough. i was Considering either Ferrari red (as mentioned i'm using this in the engine bay) or Matt black or gloss black

Nothing else springs to mind at the Mo, the piggy bank is totally empty anyway now.

Very nice Steve,

Hand painting the name will be a little tricky. I just read the link on the exhausts, bet they will sound great! I know what you mean about the letters on the boot, i always forget they are there until i open it.

Always a bit daunting working on the dash of something so electrical, i actually got money off mine for a few things but one of them was the multi changer in the boot, which i managed to fix when i got home, pure fluke of course and the same goes for the sat nav, although the CD i have is 2002 so many roads are not on there.

I think that is the sound of your new sports boxes is good, that will be my next thing, i do enjoy the sound of the V6 already

Today i will actually be buying some fibreglass woven sheets and epoxy to fix my fathers rear bumper on his Land cruiser as he had a fight with a small post and apparently lost... he has parking sensors but turns them off because they are annoying haha

i often tell the annoying beepy thing to shut up! but i am grateful at times, although when it goes into a constant screech, i get out and find i have about 2 foot still to play with... better safe than sorry i suppose

I know it's cheating but this is what I'm thinking for the chrome boot trim, so far I've had 3 for black and 3 for red as choices from friends. I am leaning towards Red. Any thoughts?
