X-Type Exterior Window Seal Trim?

I think it's a fairly common issue on the X-Types (particualrly the older ones like mine), where the window seal/trim on the exterior starts to bubble. Mine have the typical bubbling half-way along on the rear windows, but the fronts are starting to go as well. I'm interested to change them as I think it will make the car look a lot smarter. Does anyone have any advice where might be best to buy them?

I've been quoted a horrendous amount by a Jaguar parts specialist. Alternatively I've found a chrome option (although mine are origianlly black) on eBay:

Has anyone tried these and do they work, as they are an none OEM part?

Many thanks in advance!

It's called a Waist Seal apparently - Beware though, there are 2 different types of the same name

https://www.sngbarratt.com/uk/#!/English/parts/71e8d41b-de98-4bc3-9ce9-7cdb9178f13d   &    https://www.sngbarratt.com/uk/#!/English/parts/f2de2940-8448-4808-873a-f1fa5ed0508c

I got mine from Jag in the end -  £85.15 for both sides.  Jag = C2S42738 & C2S42737    these were for a 3.0 V6 Saloon.  The originals are 14yrs old so I guess they last a while.  I think saving a few quid on them just to have them rot and maybe damage the paint/door etc is a risk and I've had fitment issues with a few e-bay items while doing this car up.

They are !Removed! pricey though aren't they.

£35 each... not an unreasonable amount for Genuine Jag bits considering EPC shows them at about £68 each for the rears

My cheap and cheerful fix was simply to rub down the worst of the bubbles, then stick this

over the top. 22mm width, with two lines of adhesive tape on the back. It bent naturally to the right profile, easy to cut to shape with scissors, and now looks like I paid a fortune for a set of chrome waist seals. Well pleased.
