It could be anywhere in the D2B network. Any break will cause total failure, which is what you have.

I'd start behind the stack in the boot  (trim panel out and unbolt the stack from the boot floor) or if not then the back of the touchscreen.

Hi

Have checked connections both ends and all connected ok, there must be some joints somewhere, as to be that as all fuses ok, somebody must have encountered this before.?

thanks

Thanks for all the help reading "my stuff" d2b guide, I have in my boot when I undid the cd and nav units a loose d2b  spare cable and some grey blocks should there be some sort of link on the d2b cable to allow the loop?

It's clear you haven't got premium sound Peter.

Therefore, if that D2B connector is in circuit it will have been terminated with a loop. If so the loop has possibly fallen off and is floating around in the stack cavity somewhere.

It will look like a loop of fibre optic cable inserted in a connector.

If not, have you had the Kaiser panel out? That's the silver coloured panel in the background of your first photo. There are D2B connections on the back of it.

Thanks for you help I have attached a rough drawing of the connections, not sure what the unit is between outer and inner wing it also has connector block going from it

In which case that blank D2B connector needs to be terminated Peter.

As your shystem was working I can only assume that the terminator must be in the car somewhere.

The module behind the panel that you are not sure of is the Voice module.

Paul and others that replied SUCCESS

After stripping out half the car, there was another unit in the boot behind the bright metal plate. The voice module was at the top end, this module was at the bottom end found it by accident feeling around, after removing the sat nav/cd. The grey blocks I assume must fit something else, the optic cable had fallen out of that clipped it back in and all working.

really appreciate the guidance

Peter

The other module is the phone module Peter.

Pleased you solved it 🙂

Perhaps now you will fit the premium sound system 😉

You never know, do you have a link to say what you need.
