Does my ideal spec exist?

Hi all,

I've been considering getting an XF; specifically the 3.0 diesel. I'm looking for a car that meets the following spec - does it exist?

- Not black, gold, silver or white
- Not a black leather interior (prefer beige or white leather)
- bluetooth connectivity for audio and phone calls
- Premium stereo option (like Lexus have the Mark Levenson option)
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Rear camera
- Adaptive cruise control (or laser/radar, whatever it's called!)
- HID headlights

I am hoping I can get all of the above in an XF - the 3.0 is such a good car on paper in terms of performance and MPG, so if I can find the right spec then I think it would by my ideal next car!

Thanks! 🙂

Are you looking for an X250 (produced to 2015 or an X260 produced from 2015?

X250

You will find cars in other colours than those mentioned - white was the standard colour others were extra apart from some on the Portfolio

Interior colours yes - the whitish colour is Ivory

bluetooth yes

Premium sound - Portfolio model

Rear sensors standard equipment, front which includes camera an option and normally specified

ACC - extremely rare only seen one car advertised with it when I was looking

HID - yes

So look for a Portfolio and if you want a bit more power look for the XF-S

Go on eBay and buy a sales brochure for the year you are looking for and that will show you what was available

Thanks for the reply, PaulT.

Is there a "tell-tale" for the ACC? Like on the Lexus LS430, you can tell the cars that have adaptive cruise as the front Lexus badge is mounted on a rectangular clear plastic panel.

On a loan 2017 XF Sport I had whilst mine was being serviced the ACC was set via a wheel on the steering wheel and a notification popped up on the dash stating that Adaptive Cruise had been set.  Didn't notice anything different on the front of the car.  Didn't like it either to be honest, just more information clouding the dash and another alarm going off.  Same as lane guidance.

On an X250 cruise is set via a wheel on the right of the steering wheel. If it has ACC then there are two wheels. As far as I am aware the radar module ishidden.

It's a shame there's no visible radar module. So many of the listings either don't show a decent picture of the steering wheel or don't show any interior pictures, so an external module is a nice easy tell-tale. Thanks for the info on what to look for. I have a couple of cars in my yard I need to sell, then I'll be looking for an XF! (Or maybe an LS460 if I'm feeling masochistic. 😁)

If I remember rightly my 2010 XF premium had acc & it had a small square shaped radar box under the front number plate
