No electric boot release, is it a fuse blown?.

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

All of a sudden my electronic boot releases don't work. Bottom right dash button, keyfob button and the actual boot button not working so having to use the emergency key in the boot lid slot which opens the boot ok. With me being disabled to keep using the key is causing me problems and stress.

.

I've checked the handbook and fuses lists but no mention.

Anyone have any info, thanks.

There are no fuses Trevor as they are electronically controlled. The most likely cause will be a wire break in the boot loom.

Thank you Jim, I have found some videos on YouTube showing your broken wires suggestion.
