sad by the news that the xk is to be axed. my father always wanted a jag. but being a normal working man it was out of the question, i worked hard all my life and built up a small bussnies. due to the wifes health problems sold it and retired to look after her  having owned some nice cars in my time ie bmw mercs in my time i allways wanted a sports car. was going to buy a 911 but seen the Jaguar xk and fell in love . nice retirement pressie the shape done it. slate grey ivory leather black alloys, it was a done deall. the f-type is nice . but not as nice as the xk. to short to mutch like the bmw z4.  whom i suppose is ther main competitor . im keeping mine love it . call it magic. the rest wer called bettsie  welcome your thoughts charlie

Charles,

Really like the XK , but I can see their reasoning; I think the F Type Coupe when it released shortly, is going to blow most things out of the water .

Was planning on getting one, but repairs to the house after the storms have put my plans back for this year .

Just wished I'd hung on and not wasted a load of money on the Aston Martin DB9's I had , the most overpriced and overrated cars ever .

But my Supersport is fine, and there's always next year (weather permitting !) .

ATB,

Trevor

I couldn't agree more about the xk. I have an older model, drives beautifully and looks the business to boot! Mine needs a bit of cosmetic work but so far (18 months I have had it) appears 1st class mechanically.

Steve,

Re my post above, looking back  and knowing what I know now, I really wish I had bought the XK over the Aston Martin DB9, is is a superior car in every way, and a darn sight cheaper, but you live and learn.

ATB,

Trevor
