I only use Shell V Power and have never had a DPF problem even though I only do about 6000 miles a year. I also get a fiver every few months from the Shell Drivers Club, as well as a better fuel consumption. Peter.1 point

As David says use a high grade of Fuel, i use Shell v power diesel when at all possible.1 point
