  1. annother update, i've also ordered some coilovers from PB Brakes, exiting times
  2. thanks i made them in work time so didnt cost me a penny.
  3. also heres a quick update guys, so this weekend i made some custom machined BBS centre caps for my BBS Paris wheels as Arun cars just stuck some fake jag ones in the middle. i used the genuine jaguar and BBS lettering, i'm so pleased with how they came out. i had another idea to make them just that bit more special. i want to make them weighted and attach a baring to the back of them so they stay level like rolls royce centre caps. so i'll up date you when i have had a go at that. let me no what you think.
  4. its a shame some one else has had a problem with them. i'm more annoyed cause i paid a premium to get it from a dealer with the reassurance that it would be near on perfect. after spending a while cleaning it i've also found quite a serious patch of rust on the rear passenger side wing, which some how i missed. like you say though Phil thats the risk of buying a used car. lucky i only live 10 mils from them. but i wount be going back there ever again unless its some warranty work.i also will be telling all my friends at the bognor regis motor club to steer clear. i also found lots of really annoying botches on the car which just makes me question all there abilitys, however they did fix the engine management light and the car runs perfectly. its very quickly emptying my pockets haha. got a question that i need help with. basically i'm doing a rally in the summer called Rico Rally, and its gose all down through france to monaco and up to the nurburgring, i've read a few posts about upgrading the super charge cooling so it dosnt go into limp mode during a hot heavy drive. and tips and ideas of what to do other than the water pump? kinda want to make it full proof so i dont end up in a steaming pile of tears at the side of the road
  5. hi guys i've picked up my jag now, didnt get off to a smooth start really, left the garage with a big grin on my fce then got about 10 miles away and limp mode came on and engine management light. so a couple of day s later i booked it in under warranty to fix that and a few other bits one of being, i had a quick silver exhaust fitted by them as part if paying the full asking price for the car they would fit it for free. and that they did, so i got home later that day after about 30 miles of driving and i could smell burning plastic, looked round the back and the new exhaust they fitted had burnt the bumper! i was livid about this as i could have fitted it my self and done a better job. so when i called up about booking it for the engine light, i said that the exhaust had burnt the bumper and needed re fitting and the bumper repairing. he said ok we will re fit it and rub back and repaint that area where it had burnt. i was a bit worried about how good of a job they would do of the repair, and rightly so as they did a terrible job of it and now one side hangs lower than the other and the paint isnt even a colour match. dont really no what to do next, any advice would be helpful. other than that though i've been driving the car for 3 days now and the other problems are fixed and the car drives amazing and sounds incredible, all round i'm very happy with it, but the exhaust is bugging the hell of it me as the car was mark free.
  6. i cant wait. it cant come soon enough! i'll certainly will try to keep an upto date post on here
  7. Hi guys and girls, i've just put a deposit down on a mint 2004 XKR from ARUN cars. i've been looking for one for a couple of months now and found this gem on auto trader. made a bit of a step up in cars as i'm in the process of selling my Skoda Fabia VRS you may also think this is a strange car for a 21year old to want and you'd be right haha. i should be picking the car up middle of January after a few jobs have been done on it, one of which is having a quicksilver supersport exhaust fitted. i haven't got many pictures of it yet but here are a few off there site. ( also heres a picture of my VRS)
