  1. The start stop function on any car is reliant on the main engine battery being completely charged, so if it is not working i would charge it and test again or have the battery condition checked. You might find the battery is getting weak..

  4. I have recently bought my first jaguar, an XJ Sport, and i have noticed that the boot lid especially on the nearside on the rear edge, the boot lid is proud of the rear screen scuttle panel by about 6-8 mm. how do i adjust the boot lid height? on first look all i can see is the hinge inside the boot connected to the gas strut that disapears under the rear parcel shelf. has any one got any advice or experience of removing and refitting the boot lid. I have a photo of the boot lid on my phone but dont know how to upload it onto here. Gary.

  7. Good evening to all, my name is Gary, and live in Mitcham, surrey, i just purchased an 1997 xj6 sport, very pleased to now own a jaguar. i have always wanted a jag and now i can cross it of the bucket list, 80,000 miles with full service history, not all jag but local garage to the prev owner. drives lovely, with only a few issues, one being the headliner needs to be replaced, and there is a leak on the power steering from the reservoir. also the rear passenger door has a small scrape and a rusty bubble at the bottom. The only door that has rust. Gary.
