  1. Seems my drivers side headlight on my 2004 2.0d s x type is literally falling apart so i need one asap, got one off good old ebay but it is worse than the one fitted so was refunded straight away Ordered another one & an hour later got refunded, seller had checked it & found it to be broken :( So not only do i have two refund orders waiting to be actually put back onto my card but i still don't have a headlight Any leads to a reputable seller as i am reluctant to use ebay again but can't afford a new unit at this time Any help is most appreciated

  4. Hi everyone Had my 2004 x-type a few months now & all was fine till i was driving the kids home today Went to put my foot down on a dual carriageway to pass a slower car & i heard a pop from the engine bay, some power loss happened but i managed to get off it & nurse it the 1 mile home at very slow speed, when i come off the revs i can hear a distinct whirring noise like a turbo which was never present before, there is also a faint smell of rubber that i noticed, noise is from the nearside of the engine bay but everything is under the big cover so i can't see much If anyone can offer any advice as to what it may be it would be greatly appreciated as i need to get the kids back to their mum's tomorrow evening & if it's not an easy fix i will have to arrange a hire car if possible Have attached a video of the noise, hope it is clear enough MOV_0822.mp4
