S-Type 2003. Steering wheel will move left/right about 1.5cm before meeting resistance. For some reason it feels like the looseness is at the top of the wheel rather than in the engine bay. Otherwise steering is positive and car doesn't wander and goes in a straight line when hands are off the wheel. Took it to local garage who didn't seem to think there was anything the matter. Does anyone have any ideas?
