  1. Hi, Ive got a 2010 XF 3L. Just lately ive noticed a 'Tinny' sound coming from the front of the car when I turn right. I thought it sounded like some sort of stone guard, so I took it round to the local tyre and exhaust place as I wanted the tyres checked too. They checked all they could but couldnt find where the sound was coming from. The sound is only present when the car is in motion. On jacks with the steering lock on full it was ok but as soon as the car was moving, the sound was present again. Can anyone offer up any ideas.
  2. Wise choice, looks fabulous, enjoy the experience
  3. Hi, I've just purchased a Jaguar XF. I noticed that when locking the car the passenger door mirror does not fold inwards, and the drivers side doesn't fold in too far. Is this a common problem? I don't even know where to start looking to try to sort this out. Any help/suggestions would be most welcome.
  4. As a child I remember watching a series 2 XJ6 driving past every weekday and promised myself i would one day have one. Then some years later my father invited me to join him taking a series 3 sovereign 4.2 for a test drive. I was drooling at the prospect of my dad owning a jag, knowing that i'd get a drive in it too. My father never got that series 3, it was longer than his garage. Models came and went, most of which I liked but could never afford. Then, this year I was able to retire early and despite my wife not liking them, i've just got myself a retirement present. I am now the proud and very chuffed owner of a Jaguar XF 3L diesel. It's only taken me 55 years, but i got there in the end.
