  1. OK folks - probably been asked before, and I have noticed a post with links that no longer work.....but WHERE in God's name can I obtain a decent workshop manual for a 2002 S-Type V6? Cheers Carl
  2. Cheers - but in-car audio etc. is a dark art to me. I would have no idea what a good or bad system was. If others have already done similar to their S Types I am all ears to hear all about it.
  3. Looking to replace the existing setup with a DAB version - preferably with satnag and bluetooth for phone. Any ideas or recommendations from the collective as to what works please? 3.0 V6 2002 (example pic below). Cheers!! Carl
  4. Just as soon as I have my grubby mitts on the car Paul, I will be winging my way over to you to feed on the teat of wisdom!!!!!! In Redditch myself, so not too far away 🙂
  5. Even to an 18 year old 3.0 V6 SE without satnag etc.?
  6. Evening All.. Carl here - new member - and have just placed a deposit on a 2000 3 litre V6 S-Type. Always wanted one of these ever since they were first launched.... I had a Burago model of one in Topaz and vowed, one day, to treat myself. Well, the time has come. I currently run a BMW 4 series Gran Coupe as a company car but really cannot get on with it over long distances - it kills my back! I am no stranger to Jaguars having has a 420G and Series III XJ6 in the past plus an early X-Type Sovereign as a company car. I currently have, as my 'toy', a 1990 Daimler XJ40. The S that I am looking at will be my everyday driver and I wanted an early model as I prefer the original concept over the facelift model. Found what I think is a cracker in Roman Bronze and cant wait to take a closer look - and thanks to all you guys on here, I have been reading and re-reading all the posts about these gorgeous cars to fully understand the pitfalls.
