  1. I have a 2012 facelift XF (2.2D Luxury). The nearside (passenger) inner headlight bulb (the one nearest to the grill that flashes orange/amber once when you central lock it) has gone. Left indicator a bit dodgy as a result, like the relay has gone. I know there is a cover behind the main dip beam of the unit to change that bulb, but there does not seem to be a cover for the orange/amber one next to it...? Has anyone managed to change this one successfully - if so, how? Or do I have to replace the whole unit because the clever person who designed this unit didn't factor in that the orange/amber inner bulb could fail? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Andrew
  2. Brilliant, thanks for confirming Ian. I will follow your instructions to the letter. Now a trip to B&Q... 😊 Thanks again, Andrew
  3. Hi Ian, as a recently member who has just bought an 2011 XF 2.2D facelift, I have noticed an very intermittent high-pitched buzzing noise from the centre speaker near the windscreen. Sometimes is lasts for a very short period, and sometimes longer. I found a short clip on YouTube which seems to replicate a similar problem in a Jag (but not XF) coming from the same area: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoTnDOibDzY Your instructions of how to fix are amazing, but would you be able to confirm that this is the same problem you experienced before you applied the above technique to eliminate the problem? Many thanks, Andrew
