  1. Thoroughly recommend the Breakfast meet at Gaydon. We attend most months, the most recent last Saturday (March 02) where upwards of 140 Jaguars attended, from a SS through Mk2, E-type, XJS, various XJ and X-type, XF, etc etc. If you want breakfast, you need to purchase an admission ticket to the museum, but at £12 and valid for 12 months, that's a pretty good deal! Ours is just about to expire, but our visits over the past 12 months have worked out at less than £1 a head. The Jaguar Heritage Hall is worth the visit on its own, but it is a great opportunity to exchange views and experiences with like-minded folk. We try to alternate our visits between our X150 XK and our XJS, with the S-type appearing if the weather is poor. On the topic of garages, we are fortunate in having a one and a half car sized garage within which is a Carcoon - for the XK, along with a good-sized garage with a door mounted dust screen for the XJS. Unfortunately, the S-type (daily driver) sits outside. Totally agree with regard to modern garage sizes - really only any good for placing the washingmachine/dryer and sundry tat! Whilst looking at properties recently, with a view to a move, we dismissed many properties because of totally inadequate garaging. Perhaps a plot of land with a tent for us, and a purpose-built three car would be a good idea?!!
