  1. We are currently tidying up our white badge XKR-S convertible and we need a wheel specialist to clean, refurb, powder coat etc our 20" sepang split rim alloys. Does anyone know a reliable outfit that will do a top quality job? The work on our car is being done by an independent specialist, but the guy he used for wheels has just retired. We are in the Midlands but are prepared to send them away to be done if necessary. Thanks for any help you can give

  3. I should probably add that we did take care with the actual condition and provenance of the car as well as the colour
  4. Thank you so much Peter. The DVLA/Gov records just said Silver. After a bit of research I discovered that you can ask Jaguar Heritage a "research question" on a car for £5. I did this and they replied within a day with the exact colour from the build sheet. It was Satin Silver, as I hoped, and we have now bought the car. Yay!
  5. Can anybody advise me please. I am looking at buying an XKR-S white badge car. I have looked around at several, and am getting confused with colours. (i know, there are plenty other things to get confused about!) The white badge cars were satin silver, I understood. However I am seeing them advertised as other silvers, eg Platinum. The problem is that the V5 I have checked for one, just says "silver". Were these cars made in other colours than the 4 special colours?
