Hi Big John, whereabouts are these vents to be found?. I don't have water in the boot, but after heavy rain my hazards come on and refuse to turn off unless the ignition is turned off.

On a loan 2017 XF Sport I had whilst mine was being serviced the ACC was set via a wheel on the steering wheel and a notification popped up on the dash stating that Adaptive Cruise had been set. Didn't notice anything different on the front of the car. Didn't like it either to be honest, just more information clouding the dash and another alarm going off. Same as lane guidance.

Good evening guys, I'm having an intermittent issue with my wipers. They'll work fine, then suddenly stop in random positions on the windscreen. Flicking the lever from auto to manual doesn't do anything, pulling it for a single wipe sometimes gets them to move, but they'll do 4 swipes not one and again stop in a random position. The wash/wipe won't work at this time. If I pull over and turn the ignition off and then restart the car, sometimes it resolves the issue, sometimes not. Today got caught on the M20 with the blades stuck at a 45 degree angle in the rain, so not a happy bunny. Reluctant to go to dealers as it's an intermittent issues. Also, just moved to Maidstone so if anyone knows a good place nearby to take the girl to I'd appreciate it.

Not exactly a fix, but you can get TomTom Amigo free for Android and Apple from relevant stores. It contains navigation with traffic and speed cameras for UK and Europe, is updated constantly and very reliable. It will overlay on Google Maps if you prefer them. I use it mainly as just a speed display and camera alarm. It even shows your average speed and current speed for those average speed sections of road. I highly recommend it.

Hi Guys, my 15 plate XF has decided to turn on the hazard lights when I enter the car and I'm unable to turn them off. Start the engine and they are still flashing. Turn it off and they stop. Start again and they're off. Confused?. I am. This started two days ago so I'm sort of thinking along the lines of water having got in somewhere, but then I wouldn't expect them to stop on second start up. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

I assumed it was until I looked in the handbook and it says electronics stored high in the boot can affect reception. Issue only started after the wife slammed the boot, so I put two and two together. But as I can't find any cables my maths could be wrong, hence asking here. Was thinking the shark fin was FM and phone if the DAB was in the boot but now think I'm just confusing the issue.

Good morning, I have 2015 XF Portfolio and the reception on DAB has gone a bit flaky. I've seen in the handbook that it advises electronic devices stored near the boot lid can affect this as the aerial in located there, but cannot find anything that looks like an aerial cable within the boot lid. Any suggestions or advice would be most welcome. At moment just looking to check connections as wife has habit of slamming it shut. Thanks
