Just wondering if the S Type & Lincoln share any useful spares, as US cars & parts are generally cheaper..

Hi all, I have had a few Jags over the years and now buying a 2007 S type 3.0 It has one fault; an erratic fuel gauge which seems to be all too common. Assuming the fault is in the gauge and not the sender or their modules, can the gauge be repaired? I have seen how the cluster is removed, but it looks like a sealed unit.
