Well what a !Removed! week this has been. Front off to reveal a hairline crack in the supercharger housing and cracked coolant pipes at the supercharger cooler. A bodge it and scarper job had been done before. A bypass pipe was even blanked off with a bolt and jubilee clip. So now to strip down supercharger and get new one.

I've just bought my first XKR and absolutely love it. However, annoyingly it has developed a coolant leak and requires topped up every other journey. When the engine is up to operating temp it starts to leak steam at the front of the engine. The coolant level low warning has come on a couple of times but I've managed to nurse it back home to top up. Is this a common fault or am I just unlucky?
