  1. Hi Guys Ive owned my 2005 STR for about 2 years now and its been a great car, soo much fun, surprisingly good on fuel for such performance and very reliable and practical! However recently I have an issue with my brake pedal, basically if the car is not running and i put my foot on the brake pedal my brake lights will come on and the pedal will not retrun all the way back up to make the light turn off so they will stay on unless i lift the pedal the last half inch or so by putting my foot under it and lifting it when running there is no feel to the pedal, its hard to explain but if i use the pedal as i would in any other car the brakes will come on suddenly like emergency braking its very hard to brake gradually, the brakes are very strong and stop the car very well and i dont have any abs lights on etc but it seems the pedal takes a couple seconds to return to back to the normal position when released and like i said there is no feel to the pedal and its extremely hard to brake gradually without the brakes suddenly slamming on! ive owned soo many cars and never experienced anything like this, I dont know if its the brake booster/servo or brakes need bleeding or something else, I heard that if its the booster the pedal gets hard to press and mine isnt like that! Any info and or advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks
