  1. Replacing the cats is very expensive, to solve the leaking flexi pipes replacements are £255. You have to cut off the old ones at a specific position and then the new ones just clamp on.
  2. I have found a company that supplies the flexi pipe replacement kit www.berkshirejagcomponents.com, I was thinking of doing this job myself, I was wondering how difficult a job it is ? Also any information & tips would be appreciated.
  3. Apparently this is a common problem, when I start up or stationary there’s a smell of diet fumes in the cabin. I think it’s an exhaust leak, probably at the cat flexing pipe/pipes. Has anyone got more information or experience of this problem?
  4. Hi, I guess you’re car is a diesel? When starting these cars (especially in winter) you have to wait with ignition on until the glow plug light goes out.
