  1. Looks like you have to purchase it through one of the Motorpark dealers, and there aren't any remotely near me. That does seem like crazy value though!
  2. Thanks John, I'll look into that, the annual dealer based warranty is coming in at £800 a year, a little steep but then Audi is quoting me £900 for the Avant which I considered but didn't get on with so its fine. I do too many miles for the car to be off the road. We do have a specialist literally round the corner from me (jagutek in Ely) so I'll look into whether or not their servicing is good enough, they do say that they are jaguar approved service centre which would be very helpful indeed.
  3. Can dealers really do this? I’m looking at a 2016 car and not being able to start it is fairly fundamental! Seems ludicrous that they can get away with it!
  4. So the truth is that I only really need the saloon space wise, i think the sportbrake just looks better, and the extra space would be handy, but not exactly life changing. Sadly, for a 2016 car, the sportbrake is 5k more, and I don’t need the boot or looks quite that much!
  5. Hi all, first post here so hopefully I haven’t dropped this in the wrong place. After owning all the other premium marques (except Lexus) I’m looking at the XF. Budget is approx 15k and I’m looking at the 2 litre diesel sport versions. I want the sportbrake, but they carry a whopping premium over the saloon, hence why I’m looking at the x250 sportbrake, or the x260 saloon. Cars I’ve been looking at are around 40-50k with dealer history, and I do 17-18k per year and I’d be buying the dealer warranty for as long as possible. I was fairly set on the x260 because it’s a newer design and is still a current shape, but reliability seems worse on the newer cars - is this correct? What’s people’s thoughts? thanks in advance!
