  1. How to fix your air bag warning light on your s type nine times out of ten the light will flash three times and then six times this indicates a 36 code which means the air bag underneath the drivers seat is not working or has a fault. To replace the gubbins would cost more than the car is worth so here’s the way to fix it for under seven pound 1..go on eBay and buy some transistors you can buy one hundred assorted ohms for about six quid select a 2.2 transistor 2.. un bolt the front seat 4 bolt’s 2 at the front 2 at the back tilt the seat back. At this point disconnect the battery and connect the two cables together ( mole grips) 3.. disconnect the yellow connector block underneath the seat you need to connect the 2.2 transistor to the male side of the block this will be the car side of the loom not the seat side the best way to do this is to cut some insulation off some old wire you have knocking about about half inch long place over the two male connectors then simply push the transistor wires into the insulation to make a positive fit tape together using insulation tape 3.. bolt seat back down reconnect battery and away you go no more air bag light
