What tyres are best for my 2018 f type R. I've read the choice of tyre makes a lot of difference to the handling.

Hi everyone, last month I bought a 2018 f type R and I am less than impressed with the handling. When you are pushing on it seems to dance around and doesn't feel planted, not like my mates 2016 Aston Martin vantage. It doesn't give me the confidence to follow him on twisty b roads. Even on an A road it seems skittish when you get over a ton. My Skoda Octavia VRS feels much better at high speed which shouldn't be the case, any ideas?
