  1. HI, My XF had its battery changed a few days ago and ever since it has developed an intermittent fault, that sometimes at start up it issues a warning beep and the parking sensor and rear Camera do not work, it is really beginning to annoy me, for god' sake how hard is it to change a battery any advice would be greatly appriciated. I have taken it back to the two garages involved and they are clueless. Regards Paul
  2. No worries, let me know how you get on.
  3. HI Craig, I looked into three options, the first was to have the seat panel relaced at £350.00, buy a trimer in Chobham in Surrey, the second waws to have Jaguar make my one at £450.00 plus fitting, and the one I settled for was a trimmer at Fairoaks Airport in surrey at £ 155.00. he had To use Leather instead of the original vinyl , but he said it was harder wearing, honestlty I can't tell the difference. So I am very happy with it. If you want his details let me know, he is very good. Good Luck. Regards Paul
  4. yes, and when you double click to open the passengers doors unlock.
  5. No, I was told by my local Jaguar speciaist that the first click locks the doors, and a double click set the dead lock. Hope its right, because I have been double clicking ever since. Hopefully Paul
  6. Hi, yes, unfortunately the new unit had a 32 pin connector and it would not fit. so have returned it to Amazon and recived a refund. now I have to find a 16 pin one or an adapter. Never mind ity was a good idea at the time. Regarxcs Paul
  7. Hi John, I have attached a couple of photos' but as I was doing this I had a search under the bonnet, and as far as I could see there is no notification of sickers for the Onboard diagnosis Program. Cheers Paul
  8. That tells you one of two things, firstly there is a problem with the head gasket, or if you are lucky it is just caused by condensation, if it is the second one just take the car for blast, put some mileage on it. I would do give it bast, because even a compression test is going to cost these days. Hope it goes well, keep us informed. Regards mullers
  9. HI, I have an 2014 XF, and I have a problem with my OBD, my car hase the 9 pin connector, but all I can find is OBD11,n which have 16 pin is there someone out ther that has an answer. or is there a cable that will connect the two? Thanks Mullers
  10. Hi Tony, How much are you looking for it. Regards Paul
  11. The cam belts are 70000 or 7 years, so check the service records.
  12. HI, When I bought my XF, the first thing I did was to turn the auto stop/start off. Now six months later it will not switch back on, someone said it was because the back up battery goes flat when it is switched off, so today I charged the back up battery but it still not working any ideas? Thanks Paul
