My V8 XK8 does not sound anything like a V8! A friend of mine has an old mercedes V8 and it sounds great. My car sounds rather normal in comparison. Drives great otherwise, could it be that a replacement exhaust (2004 car) must have had at least one over the years is not one of the best? Any thoughts, thanks for your time Rob

Just bought a 2004 XK8 FSH with 95k on the clock, drove it back from Plymouth along the M25 ( mostly in the rain) then M6 to Leek (Buxton) The car ran like a dream and hope it continues this way. Any other XK8 owners would like to offer any tips or suggestions they will be very welcome Thank YOU ROB

Thanks for the reply Marlene but your car is 400bhp. I apologise to other members as I should have mentioned I am looking for a car in the lower tax band of £360. Hope you find a buyer soon Robert
