  1. Hi, I am hoping someone can help me with an issue I have with a recent change of key fob. I lost one of my remote key fobs for my X-Type Sovereign Estate. I purchased a practically brand new second hand key (Including fob, and blade). I also bought a blank key blade and had this cut and fitted this into the key. Looking around the internet I found instructions on how to pair the key fob. This was done successfully and the key unlocks, locks the car. Problem is it wont bypass the immobiliser. The light on the centre console continuously flashes. Is this a main dealer re-programming fix or can this be done by myself? Any help would be appreciated. Regards Chris
  2. Hi, My windscreen scuttle pannel is loose on my x type soverign estate and is letting water into the passenger footwell. There is a gap of around 1cm along the passenger side of the windscreen. The clips in the engine bay are clipped in Any ideas? Chris
  3. Hi, I would like to know if there is an answer to this too as I also forget to fold them in once locked and therefore don't bother to unlock and put the key back in the ignition. I have checked the manual and can't find anything. I wonder if a main dealer has to re-program the key fob? Look forward to seeing an answer. Chris Chris
  4. Hi, joined the club a couple of weeks ago now so thought I'd add a post in here. After my brother bought his XJ40 3.2S and my Dad bought a 2.7 S-Type I thought it was about time I got myself a Jag! So I recently aqquired a lovely 2007 2.2D X-Type Sovereign Estate and I love it! It's Shadow Grey and has a great spec including Sat Nav, Bluetooth Phone, CDC, Heated Black Leather with electric memory, cruise, auto wipers and beautiful 18inch Valencia Alloys + full Jag Service History. Only had one problem so far - tailgate glass wouldn't open. Seems common but it was all sorted under the warranty. Switch was replaced. Will get some pics up soon. Chris
  5. I am 30 with a beautiful little daughter who has lots of things that me and my wife have to carry about hence why I have just bought my first Jaguar. It's a 2.2 X-Type Sovereign Estate and I love it....lots of gadgets to play with which an old man probably wouldn't be able to use!! haha! Chris
