  1. Hi Steve, I've googled the part and been in touch with 'spares finders' for Jags but to no avail. I've padded out the well with bubblewrap etc but no joy. I've sort of worked out that the bolt size down through the spare wheel is 1/4 inch but can't confirm that. Will go to B & Q and buy some 'test' size bolts. Of course, what I should do is remove the spare wheel and go for a spin just to confirm that is causing the rumbling. It might just be the exhaust boxes rattling so I need to eliminate that. Joys of motoring eh? lol Still wouldn't be without my growler :P :)
  2. Hi Guys and Gals, my big cat is still the love of my life (apart from my Doberman, that is lol). I have an XKR 2003 and the cap and long bolt that holds the spare wheel down is missing. I've tried a few websites but no luck so far. Does anyone out there have one for sale or know where I can get one pleeeeeeeease! The rumbling noise is driving me crazy. I've tried to pad it out to no avail :-( Enjoy the sunshine - ain't it nice to have air con :-) xxx
  3. Like the topic and particularly interested as I've only had my gorgeous cat since Feb. I live between Bath and Bristol so any recommendations for this area would be welcome! Still smiling like a lunatic every time I drive it...... :P :P
  4. Hi all you incredibly clever people who own Jaguars. I've only had my pre-owned one for a couple of weeks but still wake up smiling at the thought of it! Thanks too for all you guy who welcomed me to the Club. Having worked all my life and retired a few years ago, I never believed I would be lucky enough to own my dream car. So it does pay to dream after all!!!!
  5. Hi Guys & Gals, I picked up my very first Jag last Monday and have been on cloud 9 ever since. What a beautiful beast! It's an XKR and is truly fantastic but of course all you petrol heads out there already know that. To be serenely cruising along, obeying the laws of the road and then to surge ahead at will, what power and grace. It did surprise me however, to realise there is no rear screen wiper... a small price to pay for such a superb car.
  6. Hi everyone, I'm going to look at my very first jag on Monday YES, only a day away! I am 63 and determined to have the car of my dreams before having to hang on to a zimmer. I'm going for an XKR 2002 with only 32,000 miles. It's a real honey, metallic black with black and caramel upholstery. I know, I know, everyone tells me I'm crazy but if I only have a few good years from it I will be delighted and actually the insurance will be cheaper than on my current Mini Cooper. OK guys and gals, I can hear you laughing from here but why not get a bit of the best eh? My husband of 42 years passed away over a year ago so I'm doing this all on my own - what an adventure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wish me luck folks. Will post again soon, unless I'm so besotted I can't bear to leave it. :D :D :D
