    Id like to say bye for now as I recently lost my dad some members met him at the alfreton charity car meet, also my x-type started having problems I think with turbo I got thick black/blue/grey smoke & loss of power when driving. With this problem and sorting my dad's financial estate out I decided to sell and get a cheap runaround, hopefully I will be back in a jaguar. I will still keep calling in as I met some good friends.     Had a great day & met some new/old faces we Probly all got burnt, thanks to members for coming, we was the largest car stand too and a jaguar s-type won a prize well done peter :) could do with members hanging on till later in case u win a prize.

    That will be fine Mick well keep a lookout for you, only thing organisers say not to do is drive on the football pitch but they should have cones or somthing round it :)

    Hi Mick It's a meet for all types of cars with a few car clubs attending, I've been and got stuff I.E gazebo and banners so we got a stand, I have advertised it on another jag club site and there's a couple from there on our stand too, gates open at 11am til about 16:30-17:00 ish people was coming and going through the day at last one.     I better start getting mine cleaned up think everything ready for sunday :) Gazebo---------check jaguar banner---check I had to build a frame for banner so it stands up so used a pelmet/curtain rail looks good to be honest (Note to myself tell my mum I used it) haha :)

    Really looking forward to it too, going on my numbers (2xjag clubs) on our stand there should be 11 jaguars so far, and so we make a impression I bought a gazebo and ordered a jaguar banner hope it gets to me before. I'm also thinking of putting a folding table in boot or even just a couple of folding chairs :)

    Been intouch with my friend who organising this meet, I asked if we can all park together as there's other car clubs going and she said no problem :) looks like it's going to be a good day. Also been thinking has anyone got any jaguar banners we can use to make our stand more complete ?

    Yeah it's easier to take bumper off I was going to do it myself like you but couldn't get to clips so I thought let someone else mess :)

    Hi graham I had mine changed from silver to chrome I let a garage do it, when I picked car up after the machanic said it was a pain to get bumpers off and then most of the clips at the rear of them broke, lucky the ones I got off eBay came with clips Regards Simon

    As I been inviting members to a charity car meet and members might be thinking about meeting up and convoying to meets, try waze app on smartphones it shows other members where abouts on route you are so they can join you in convoy to meets. Any other members use this app ?
