  1. The funny thing is my dad (mick t) is having the same problem now and he had his done at a different place, I'm beginning to wonder if it can be done at all.
  2. Yeah I had it zeroed but 3 week later it came back on.
  3. Well guys Im having some trouble with the same type after dpf removal, after a few weeks the "dpf full" light came on and won't go off, spoke to the garage that did the removal and there looking into it but the only thing I can seem to find out is that the dpf software has not been removed correctly at the time of remap. If anybody can shed any light on the situation it would be very much appreciated. Cheers Ricky
  4. just dpf removal is a possibility but you should see and increase anyway. when i had mine done they asked which map i wanted.
  5. if i was you danny id find your local rolling road and ask them to do a dyno run, to be honest i didnt see a big difference at first (it can take a few cycles for the sensors to adjust to get the full effect). now itv done a few hundred miles i can now, it picks up alot quicker. Quick question and i a point to everyone who is thinking of having this done, before you get dpf removed and remapped make sure you get the dpf pressure sensors reset to 0 or it will contine to count up and throw a light and warning on the dash. I was never told about this and had to spend a full day at a jaguar dealership plus £40 worth of diesel as they had to drive it to reset the computer. cheers ricky
  6. hi guys i have the cd headunit w/nav and just wanted to know if it was possible to flash the cd drive with a firmware to allow it play mp3 disks. cheers ricky
  7. yeah it would plus i may give the exhaust a nice sound too, as long its not too loud.
  8. Hi guys had a dyno run done last week, very impressed indeed. Dyno showed 243.5bhp and 411 lb-ft torque. Next thing is to get the cats removed.
  9. I can say it defo improved the performance, got cae booked on a dyno road on monday so ill see the exact performance gain.
  10. Thank you I wondered if it would be an encoded signal or just like an optical out on a stereo so I would just need a converter. The problem I have is the subs on parcel shelf have blown so if fitted a sub with amp into the boot by splicing into sub cables off the std amp, but since its not a pre amp signal it just sounds cack lol.
  11. Hi guys in my car iv got the alpine premium sound with sat nav. My question is, is their a way to replace the std amp in the boot with an aftermarket one, as everything I read shows the auido signal to the amp from the head unit is via an optic cable so no rca leads. Cheers
  12. Iv got an 2006 stype 2.7 deisel. I wanna fit an induction kit but does this car have an mass air flow sensor Cheers Ricky
  13. hi guys i hope some can help. my parking assist isnt working on the s-type, red light is on (above head) and if anything is close by it cant be switched off. I have been all the way around and can not hear any of the sensors ticking so does this mean its the module in the boot? Any help would be brill before i go to the stealerships... cheers ricky
  14. It was easy to be honest just make sure you have all the right tools or you have to get your son to take you to bnq lol. isnt that right dad lol.
