Thanks all for you help, now on back order with Rimmer Bros. and to get car back on the road, found 2nd hand part now now.

Have phone the above apart from sng barratt (will phone tuesday) Rimmer Bros. are trying to get one in and are going to ring back Tuesday. in all me time doing car repair have never found a part so hard to get. its out there some where in the uk I know it. wife knows am in love with my jaguar but cleaning it when I cant use it, she thinks is going over the top. lol

any one know where I can get hold of a JAGUAR S-TYPE 3.0 V6 CYLINDER HEAD WATER TEMPERATURE SENSOR XR813484 I live in st neots and I phone around but no one I can find has one in stock. thanks for any help you can give. would me happy to fit a 2nd hand part for now just to get car back on the road

Any one know of a garage near St Neots, that can renew the gearbox oil on my s type? at just coming up to 80,000 miles and 13 years old, think its about time it was done.

make sure you do part of the test drive over rough roads, and listen out for any thuds. it will more then likely, be anti roll bar bush front or rear. Enjoy you test drive.

The S type was my dream car, don't know why. Just always loved the look of them from the start was always a dream sill March 2013 when I got a 2001 3.0 v6 in dark blue with only 72,000 and a fsh,. well I got the bills the last owner paid, (Think they must of told him to sell before this and that needed doing) In the last year have spent lots on replacing one part or the other lucky I do my own repairs, So now know its in tip top condition. Have also had a LPG conversion fitted to her this month. ( that well pay for itself within 10 months.) Now I have to stop dreaming as there is one setting on my drive, unless am driving her. Lots spent on her over my first year of ownership, will in get cheaper next year. I don't know or care, As I sill smile just looking at her and know she mine.

just done mine, when getting lg fitted. As you will have the manifold off renew the breather under the lower manifold, it is know to need replacing. am in st neots if you need help let me know.
