Selling on behalf of my father who has decided to give up driving. He brought it in 1991 the previous owners were a company, always been dry stored lots of history. Only faults that I can see are the roof lining is starting to sag, there is a very small area around windscreen rubber is showing rust (see pics) and the door handles surrounds are marked. Its just had a service and mot including ht leads, and also had the master cylinder replaced. I can't say much more so hopefully the pictures will do it justice! Private plate is not included. Hello everyone, we were wondering if anyone could help, my 82 year old father has decided to give up driving and so has asked to get rid of his cars. One of the first to go is his 1990 s3 xj12. Its grey with grey leather and has only covered around 40,000 miles from new, I believe he bought it in 1991 from a company who had owned it from new (2/2/1990). Has anyone got any ideas of value? I've been told anywhere between £4000 to £12000! It is in very good condition and has always been dry stored. Many thanks.

Wow! Thanks guys for the fast response, why can't other forums be as efficient? You're right Trevor, she's had two offers, one at £500 and another at £900. I'm quite tempted myself but already have a few projects, I wouldn't know what to offer her without feeling it should of been more and I really would like a s type r . I did suggest she got a mot etc on the car but she's adamant she doesn't want to spend any money on it, also suggested the option of putting it on eBay but she lives on her own and has no family local so understandably doesn't want random people coming round to view. It is a nice car though and still has that 'new' smell when you open the door.... Maybe I'll sleep on it!

Hi guys, I hope someone can help us. I have an elderly lady customer whose husband passed away 5 years ago, she now wants to sell their s type. It's a T reg 3.0 v6 se in sea frost silver with satnav which they have owned from new , it hasn't been used for 5 years and has been stored in a garage so has no mot or tax. It has only covered 17,000 miles! Can any one tell us the value of the car as she has had a couple of traders make her offers which seem low. We appreciate the putting an accurate value without seeing it is difficult but a genuine guide price would be appreciated.
