Anybody had this before with the Xtype rear parking aid, completly dead, when reverse gear engaged, no ticking on sensors, but all fuses check out ok, reversing lamps working ok, no 5sec warning beep at all, any ideas guys what am i missing?? Any imput greatly appreciated😄👍.

Hiya guys, thanx to Kenny for your input ,spoke to a jag expert yesterday about my problem and he said that it could be the pedal free play needs adjusting, he said to screw in the nut on the end of the push rod but neither the master cylinder or the servo have an adjustment nut on them so does he mean the push rod from the pedal to the servo unit or what it was confusing any body any ideas on what hes talking about ??????,.

Cheers Kenny, I'm thinking it might be that the vac pump is some how getting a signal to run as soon as the ignition is switched on because even with the calipers away from the discs when the ignition is switched on you can see the pistons start to move in as though the second vac is being applied any one had this prob ( possible wire ring prob???).

any body got any ideas why my brakes are behaving as if the pedal is being pushed when driving normally without touching the pedal?????????.

Hi ya guys does anybody have a wiring harness with a good camshaft position sensor connector on it doesn't matter if the harness is no good I just want the C P switch connector give us a shout if you can help me out cheers .

Hi guys ,anyone come across this one before, when I first come to start my 2.2d x type estate it lets out a continuous beep for about four seconds then starts up if I try to reverse the sensors don't work ,no beeping at all but after a drive if I need to reverse then they work ok ??????.

I can not open my tail gate glass the trigger below the rear wiper does not seem to do anything, and the global closing operates every window but the drivers I have to close that with the window button any body got any fixit ideas please.

My x types drivers side window does not respond to global closing all the others close but the drivers side just stays open I have to switch on the egnition and close it with the button has any body come across this and fixed it if so can u let me know wat u did to put it right .cheers.
