I searched for months to find full set for my X-Type and managed to get a full set with tyres for £300 off eBay. From a dealer I think they're about £300 a corner.

which is what i said above M  

but until the member puts a clear photo up of his wheels i cant say which ones he has to be 100% sure  ( i was only going by my wheels 2009 x type) 

Hi, does anybody know how to identify alloy wheel model, is there a pt no on inside ? 17" x 7.5 as I want to purchase a full size spare, for my 2009 X Type

see if you can get hold of a code reader  just a word of advice if you are thinking of buying one,  please watch out, some of the OBD2 readers you get of these auction sites  wont sync with the car and wont scan / read the Jaguar codes this is only some of the very cheap ones. i went for a mid range one 2nd time round at £69- £109 with no problems & it works a treat

yes mondeo engine with the Jaguar bits added if you look deep enough your find some parts with ford stamped on them, and with most parts these days you can cross ref them against a ford database, plus you will find the ford parts come out that little bit cheaper for the same item its all in the name. so i always check.

              just to let you know i have used mtec for years and they have never let me down or failed me in the past i have the holed & grooved discs on my x type fantastic braking

I think I've located one but the breaker says it actually goes down bwhind the engine as well.

it doesn't go behind the engine at all Paul they fit within the bonnet itself

    i was on about the clips Paul not the cover itself but you should be able to get one from a breakers at a decent price 

i do know that blanking the egr works on the x type very well as ive done this myself, i think for the s type the blanking plate  has to have an 8mm hole in it so ive been told maybe one of the s type members can comfirm this

            they are only in place for noise reduction / vibration of the bonnet from the engine  and doesn't effect  any of the cars normal functions the clips you can get anywhere for a few pounds

hi do you have a smallish or stubbie aerial on the car  or a shark fin type as ive found the shark fins far better for reception in most areas of the uk

so you may want to try a  bigger/longer  aerial or booster or the shark fin
