  7. had our xjr 6 years now. still get excited when good weather comes around ,(love driving it )
  8. trust me youl love it.only thing i dont like about mine is it's too hard to drive around town ,(IE cats ,very low profiles,)but on open roads it's amazing

  11. hi jim , only thing i can think of is the v8s dont like quick stop start .it does tend to gas them up easily always get them up to full temp before turning off ,hope you get sorted steve

  13. big ones not too bad mate pre 2003 xjr (same tax as your x type and if used sensibly not that expensive on fuel, plus there are many non dealer service people out there to maintain it at fraction of cost (but ask around first also some good bullshitters)had my 2002 xjr 5.5 year now n still smile every time i see it .we just use honda hrv for every day too and fro

  15. If its trying to go you need patience n a fair amount of wd 40 if that case once moving clean with brasso intensely and good coat of 4in one oil
  16. Hi Steve no what' happens is you can drop the windows as normal but when you put them back up they just pop out of guide and frame . So when widows all misted up in morning can't put them down without spending 5 mins trying to get them back up bit of a pain really

  19. hi guys need some help here please. we have hrv as every day car in last 2 months both windows have started popping out on closing,more so when wet.i took door panel off but only thing i notice is you can slide them about 1 inch back and forth everything seems tight. end of tether now, any help most welcome. thanks s&t
