HI Peter Fitted all this to my last car a jag xj 350 3ltr petrol but cant seem to get the hang of this new uprated phone module which has combined bluetooth and all x type wiring seems different I will read up on it and eventually sort it Many thanks for your help here any time if I can help you or any of the other guys Happy motoring Ray

Hi Ian You need 3 fibre optic lead to connect your cd as you stand four lead would be better as at a latter date you may decide to fit voice etc But blank of spare lead as for reprogramme some times it will plug and play if your lucky If not dealer or some one with right equipment to make system know cd is there Hope this helps a bit Happy motoring Ray

Hi Guys Just like to say thank you for having me in the club My name is Ray and I come from a small place called Stourbridge West Midlands Today I went out and bought a X type SE 2008 very pleased with it cracking drive back Have had a few before three xj 3.0 petrol and a S type mostly know about xj have done a couple up into nice cars I thought the x type would be on the same lines so I suppose ill find out shortly got to fit voice and a six cd player Any way this is a bit about me and Im sure we will be talking a lot soon Best regards and Happy motoring Ray
