  1. hi Brian if its putting the seat electrics out I would try disconnecting the seat wiring then replace the fuse if it still blows you will know the fault isn't the seat electrics you could then disconnect the next easiest item to get to that's feed buy that fuse until the fuse doesn't blow the last item you disconnected will be the one with the fault.
  2. hi I have searched the interweb but no luck my 2001 3ltr auto had the abs light /dsc/and traction control lights on so I read the codes and as suspected it was a rear sensor .fitted new sensor all lights fine except traction control light still flashes all the time .if you push the switch read out on dash shows dsc on /off. back to code reader reset all fine for a while . then it starts flashing again. tried neg battery terminal to poss as suggested some where but still flashing . code reader gives code u1243 .scp (j1850) invalid or missing data exterior environment. so any more ideas or is it off to jags for a reset cheers chris
  3. hi will as the previous post says as a 16 year old car it could have lots of faults. in my opinion I would drive it for a while to see how it feels and if any fault lights come on .a good way to get an overall view is to have a mot done cheers chris
