  1. Thank you for replying I shall try the coils at the weekend.
  2. Not bad at all in the morning it's when it reaches running temp Thanks for your reply. But would the coils break down only once the engine is warm ?
  3. I am after some advise on my 02 x type petrol. I developed a fault and had a diagnosis check which cane back as o2 sensors upstream so I replaced both of these along with fuel filter however when it gets to running temp i can only drive it with pedal quater of the way down otherwise it gets really lumpy in all gears and kind of back fires/ popping any advice appreciated
  4. It's petrol. Have put in 2 new upstream sensors. New fuel filter. But again as it reaches running temp the car becomes hesitant am only able to use basically 1/4 of throttle because it fèls like its in limp mode. Just has no power
  5. Thank you for your reply. Yes I'm thinking along those lines but ideally need to be pointed in the right direction
  6. Hello all. I've recently brought a x type 2.1 2002. But the other day it was very hesitant on acceleration to the point it was almost at a stop. Put in local garage for diagnostic check. Came bk with 02 sensors as code fault. I have now replaced both upstream sensors and fuel filter but again as soon as it is upto running temp. Is again very poor on throttle and almost like limp mode. But first thing in morning is fine for the first few miles until engine is warm. Would appreciate any help on this
