  1. Thanks joe. will look at calling into an Auto Electrician let them take a look at it. it does seem to be the passenger side that seems to be ware the problem lies. But like you say the car has many air bags. ho what id give for my Austin 1100 back that i passed my test in in 1976. lol
  2. Guys. the Air bag warning light on my S type 2006 stays on. The car goes in on thursday for its mot. i know that this is a failure so i need to rectify the problem asap. Has anyone of you Jag enthusiasts any ideas on how i can rectify the problem? ive tried disconecting the battery for a few hours but to no avail. So any help off my fellow Jag enthusiasts would be much appreciated. Many Thanks
  3. Hi peter like Andy i purchased my wiper blades from euro car parts. just under £20 for the pair very easy to fit. i bent the old ones in half to remove them. the new ones just clip on from the top of the arm. the arm only needs to be lifted about 1 inch from the glass. Mark

Hi Karl I have a OBD2 scanner and it works a treat on my s type it tells you the problem and resets the on board computer. i plug her in to my Girl often. the make is Konnwel KW808 bought off ebay £23 great buy. shame you live too far away you could have borrowed it ( im in Rotherham) On the S Type..... they are a Great motor. I'm on my second one. I Just Love em. Just today ive been upto Darlington then called off at York round trip of about 180 miles mostly in cruise and she never missed a beat.   7. Hi Guys. What is the best Engine Oil to put in my 2.5 S Type Sport (petrol) Theirs that many types on the shelf i'm just Stuck as to what type to buy. Thought i'd ask the Guys in the Know!!! Your Help would be much appreciated. Many Thanks. Mark

Hi. i changed my blades last week. i bought new ones from euro car spares £19 best £19 ive ever spent. fitted in less than 2 minutes to remove the old ones i just bent them in half and lifted them off the wiper arms. the new blades clip on so easy the wiper arm only needs to be about 1inch off the Glass and are held in place by locking clips. they also come with built in washer jets (if yours have em) Good Look!!! MARK
