Hi guys brought new rubbers for doors and have many problems fitting them they seem to hard and pushing the doors out of liniment plus not shutting either any thoughts gary

Hi guys need some advice after spending 5 days fitting new door rubbers brought from barttots they seem to be to hard and push the door out of line ,the ones that I took out were like a figure of 8 but they were 50 years old these ones seem to be just like a rubber tube can I buy softer ones or just smash the thing up HELP HELP please many thanks Gary 07976252006 will to talk
