  1. Hi Folks, Got a gearbox fault on my wife's S Type 2001 3L auto, diagnostic codes that are showing on tester are PO734 - Gear 4 incorrect ratio P0735 - Gear 5 incorrect ratio P745 - Transmission pressure control solenoid A P795 - Transmission pressure control solenoid C Transmission fluid and filter changed last year, although there is a small leak from the rotary switch, am I looking at a rebuild or replacement auto box. Thanks Norman
  2. Gary just wondering did you resolve this issue my wife's S type 3l auto is doing the same thing ( 2001 ) Thanks Norman
  3. Folks have a small leak from the auto gearbox on my S type 2001 ( 5 speed ), the leak is coming from ( through ) the rotary switch I suspect the seal on the input shaft is faulty. How do you remove the shaft can it be removed without taking the gearbox sump off, I have the seal. Thanks Norman.
  4. Peter thanks for your reply and the idea of an Irish meet sounds interesting, we live on the Ards Peninsula in County Down. The area does have some interesting places to visit and the roads are great for Jaguars. Norman
  5. My wife had been wanting a Jaguar S type for a while and we eventually found the nice example you see in the picture. We have had the car for about 3 months now and she absolutely loves the car and will only travel in my old Mondeo when really necessary. The car genuinely puts a smile on her face and I have to admit I also love driving it. Norman
