Hello GingerPower, The other responses are correct, however a company called navtool makes a device that adds additional functions to the video display. This includes display of your smartphone and related controls, in addition to a backup camera. If this interests you just google Navtool. Best of luck and have fun with your S-type. I love driving mine. Currently an 07, previously had an 03 which I gave to my partner. He now has 200,000 miles and going strong.

Hello everyone. I am looking for clarification on controlling keyless entry system. My issue is for a 2007 S-Type. I can unlock all doors remotely with my key. All doors except the driver door will respond to the keyless remote, but won't stay unlocked more than a second, because the driver door didn't unlock. I am aware of others having issues along the same lines but didn't see any answers. I believe the problem must be in the driver door remote actuator, or the driver door control module. If anyone can cast a light to my question, it would be appreciated. I would hope to avoid having to buy two parts, if only the one is needed. Regards, Classicjaglover

Hi JonB, I am new to the site. I have two S-Types, a 2002 and a 2007. Love both cars, but I am having the same problem with updating the Navigation Maps. I have a 2012-13 update disk however, when I insert it in the Navigation controller it recognizes the DVD then says "Please Wait reading DVD" how ever I have waited as long as 4 hours and still no joy. I have read on other sites that others have had this problem but the DVD eventually loaded after an hour or so. I was able to reload my old DVD within a minute or two. So no loss there. Hopefully, someone can advise us of a solution. Ron Classic Jag lover.
