    Thank you ANDYDJ for your advice. Thankfully I didn't have to remove the door card because I managed to solve the problem by using WD40 and working the door opening mechanism a few dozen times to free it off. Time will tell of course if it is a permanent fix!!

    My JAGUAR CAR IS A 2004 x-TYPE WITH A 2.5 engine. The problem I have is that the front passenger door will not open from the outside, but will open from the inside. All the other doors work perfectly. Can anyone please tell me what could be causing this annoying problem? My thanks in advance.
